Matt is a drummer/percussionist. He plays drums at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue and has played two off-broadway musicals for the National Yiddish Theatre/Folksbiene. “On Second Avenue” starring Mike Burstyn, and “A Yiddish Vaudville” starring the late Bruce Adler.

He also leads his own band, Matt Temkin’s Yiddishe Jam Band, in 2008 they released there debut album Poykler’s Shloft Lied. Click for a review. Along with concerts they are available to play private parties.
